i could see the gleaming reflection from at least 12 meters away of a partially buried drone. upon closer inspection i noticed that it was fully operable but just buried. i was able to reprogram the directives of the unit for an accompaniment to my journeys. the unit was equipped with several functions. there was a domicile equipped function but that would serve little purpose out on the plains. the scanners on the drone could penetrate the darkest rooms and the thickest walls. this would be handy for a heads up on any unsatisfactory situations. as soon as everything was configured on the little hovering drone i set it to stay in close proximity to me. it was a nice change to have a little companion. it communicated with me in a rudimentary binary language. the method was a wuring sound of low frequency humming. it was very efficient method for communication without the use of electromagnetic signals. the propulsion system was fast and could easily out maneuver most things it would come in contact with. it would hover along
