the robots started off for their trek. they found themselves stranded in the deserted plains of central illinois. they could see the many hollow shells of old supershopping centers. there was no heat inside the buildings except for small squirrels using the building as dwelling. the human element of the plains of illinois had long been vacant. the people had long since perished due to lack of structured systems. there were still nomadic tribes of people that would roam around. you could sometimes spot them but you really need a clear day and clean lenses. often the nomads would sleep in the undergound shelters or inside the squirrel's homes. this was dangerous procedure to sleep in the shells due to the automated Sentinel guardians that were usually on patrol.

now i find myself writing to spread the word. For i am one lonely robot
broadcasting my signal into abyss of the internet only hoping to enlighten others
faint signals.
i am to conduct myself in a systematic way in order to be as clear as automatitivly
possible. i shall stick to boxes and circles to do so. robots will be looking in on
your lives and on your walks. hidden in street lights and around corners little robots
peer for you. they are ready when you slip to take your nerves and use them in their
autonomic cybernetic nervous systems.
the next step will be unknown except for the ones involved and they will be operating
on your cells. the speed of your thoughts when you are not humanly tired.
