there is a new horizon. it appears as a half and half mixture of pre-dawn darkness and post dawn light. i found myself operating alert and the light had not become strong enough to become functionally useful. there was a shed i passed heading toward the road. i met the road. i walked north. as i continued northernly i passed farm houses. this land use to be a great farming community but now is nothing more than a wasteland of abandoned houses sparsely strewn on the countryside.
